Le Bernardin has been hailed as the best American seafood restaurant in the country. The original was founded in Paris in 1972 by the late Gilbert Le Coze and his sister Maguy; they opened the second Le Bernardin in New York in 1986. Current chef and co-owner Eric Ripert continues the tradition with an astonishing menu of top-sourced seafood prepared and presented with innovation and vision.
