50's Prime Time Cafe Restaurant Review:
Kitsch from the 1950s decorates this eatery---plastic-laminate tables, pull-down lamps, knick-knacks straight from your grandma's (or great-grandma's) kitchenette. If there’s a wait, head to the adjacent Tune-In Lounge for a cocktail (or milkshake) at the counter. Many of the offerings are comfort food classics---meatloaf, fried chicken, and a commendable pot roast---but there are more sophisticated options, too, like artichoke and ricotta agnolotti and grilled pork loin with peppered mushroom gravy. And the tuna noodle casserole gets an update here with a whole grilled tuna steak. Whatever you order, don't pass up the peanut butter and jelly milkshake, it's worth every calorie. If you clean your plate, they'll offer you dessert; try the Boston cream parfait or the s'mores, a huge plate of graham crackers topped with chocolate and toasted marshmallows.
