Abdullah the Butcher House of Ribs & Chinese Food Restaurant Review:
A thick smoke curl is visible by the side of the road sooner than the sign for this establishment, which was founded by one of wrestling’s most honored stars. Besides the simple, squat building that serves as a restaurant, a screened-in structure houses the smokers, its clapboard sides adorned by a profile portrait of the owner. Smoked ribs and chicken seem cooked from the heart, and rib tips may center a meal. You won't find either pulled pork or brisket --- it's all about ribs. Slaw seems freshly made and is enlivened by the hints of green bell pepper. Homemade desserts include Southern classics, such as sweet potato tarts, but we suggest the cheesecake tart. The place also serves Chinese food, offering fairly standard dishes from the Chinese-American repertoire.
