Addie's Restaurant Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Replacing the earlier, friendlier and humbler Addie’s, this one is big, shiny and upscale.
Likes: Picturesque seating.
Dislikes: Distracted waitstaff.
Food & Drinks: The lunch menu kicks off the meal with some rather refined fare, from green curry mussels to prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella. Sandwiches include roasted Elysian Fields lamb shwarma with picked peppers, hummus and feta wrapped in flatbread; a French dip; and two burgers, such as the quite tasty deluxe burger with blue cheese, caramelized onions and roasted cremini mushroom. Entrées are also high-end: Ocean City scallops with sweet corn risotto, and Mediterranean grilled squid with feta cheese and pine nuts. Dinnertime patrons can indulge in a pricy seafood tower packed with fish and shellfish or opt for starters and mains --- how about tournedos of beef with roasted corn relish? Desserts hit the mark with the likes of a salted caramel banana cream pie trifle. Be sure to check with staff about cocktails and wine pairings.
