Alba Restaurant Review:

Chef Sean Weinberg and his wife Kelly run this always inventive restaurant in the western Main Line that draws many diners from Center City, Philadelphia. The menu highlights handmade, locally grown, artisanal ingredients and features dishes cooked on a wood-fired grill, imbuing everything from octopus to duck with a hefty dose of smoke and flavor. Pappardelle in wild boar ragù with Parmigiano-Reggiano will have you yearning for nonna's kitchen. And you can't go wrong with the simple pleasures of slow-roasted suckling pig, fingerling potatoes and broccoli rabe.
