THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED AquaKnox Restaurant Review:
Located along The Venetian’s restaurant row, AquaKnox is a fine option for seafood on The Strip. The comfortable yet contemporary room is strong on blue, flowing tones, making diners feel like they’re under water. The wine cellar also contains a private room for VIPs, who can enjoy watching water cascade down around the bottles --- but keep in mind the room is kept at a brisk 55 degrees. Seafood is handled deftly, evidenced by the signature seafood soup. Ample portions of lobster, John Dory, mussels, shrimp and clams in a rich tomato broth are enhanced by the addition of saffron and a splash of Pernod, giving the broth a heady profile. Australian barramundi is enticing as well, served with chive potato purée, butternut squash and asparagus-mushroom vinaigrette. Those looking to be ultra-decadent will be pleased with the crab-stuffed lobster and its subtle hint of truffle. Desserts include butterscotch bread pudding and flourless chocolate cake. Dining at AquaKnox is an experience that is refined and upscale, yet comfortable enough for everyone to appreciate.
