Audrey at the Hammer Restaurant Review:
Audrey at the Hammer is the restaurant at the Hammer Museum in Westwood from restaurateur Soa Davies Forrest (Le Bernardin) and chef Lisa Giffen (Sauvage). A modern dining room featuring a prominent tile installation from renowned Cuban-American artist Jorge Pardo is augmented by a large, newly-built patio. The contemporary California menu with European flavors includes Baja kampachi crudo with makrut and fingerlime; Moro Bay black cod with mussels, fennel and saffron broth; turmeric roast chicken with charred sweetheart cabbage; and a heritage pork porterhouse with dates and espelette jus. Look for fresh craft cocktails and a diverse wine list showcasing small production winemakers. Guests can access the restaurant through the museum both during and after its public hours with a dedicated entrance on Lindbrook Drive.
