Audubon Golf Clubhouse Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: Ladies who lunch, power-lunchers and golfers populate this airy, contemporary clubhouse offering daytime fare. The open, undulating Audubon Park golf course provides a soothing scene when viewed through windowed double doors or from a table on the wraparound porch.

Likes: Appetizer portions for the whole table.
Dislikes: Sluggish service.

Food & Drinks: Bountiful baskets of shared appetizers, such as blue crab cakes and slaw, and creative salads (try the classic Caesar with shrimp, chicken or filet) are menu mainstays. We like the sandwiches, especially the smoked brisket or the crispy chicken with pimento pepperjack cheese. Red meat lovers will go for the smoky blue cheeseburger. End the meal with a local favorite, lemon ice box pie. The limited wine list presents familiar choices by the glass and bottle. Golf shirt-attired waiters expect guests to linger, so they graciously refill iced tea glasses all afternoon. After dining, try to score one of the rocking chairs on the aforementioned porch, a relaxing setting for coffee or afternoon cocktails.
