Austin's Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Modern touches and wood tones make this classy steakhouse a place to bring your favorite carnivore. In addition to steak, you find lamb chops and veal chops. Start with calamari or the crab cake appetizer before working up to the good stuff. There’s the 12-ounce filet mignon, the 22-ounce T-bone or the 42-ounce Porterhouse for two. Don’t forget the potatoes: Lyonnaise, garlic mashed or baked. Sides are also mainstream, such as creamed spinach, fried onions or steamed asparagus. The baked sole or ahi will appeal to those looking for lighter fare. The Californian, Italian and Australian wines pair well with the fare.
