Alizée American Bistro Restaurant Review:

At one time, the Colonnade’s resident restaurant was the Polo Grill, a scenester’s mecca. Since then, the space has been home to a handful of ambitious eateries, none of which set the town on fire. However, we’re happy to say that the “curse” was broken by Alizée. The “American bistro” was given a modern remodeling: deep reds, rich woods and abstract oils create a sophisticated, unstuffy setting for contemporary American fare. The menu concentrates on such hearty East Coast favorites as shrimp and grits, Carolina pulled pork, and even a smoky crab burger with Angus beef, smoked bacon and lump crab meat. A strong wine list includes reasonably priced and splurge-worthy international selections.
