Bar Pitti Restaurant Review:

The draw at Bar Pitti is authentic Italian fare at reasonable prices. Among the appetizers is the antipasto Toscano with prosciutto di Parma, salame toscano, pecorino and a slice of fettunta --- grilled country bread redolent of garlic and olive oil. Pasta standards are all here, but we do recommend the taglierini all'empolese, a thin pasta with leeks, artichokes, garlic, olive oil and a touch of fresh tomato. Hot panini also appeal; try the Campagnolo with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, olive oil and Parmigiano. Entrées change daily. Desserts include tiramisu and panna cotta. The short wine list features good Italian bottles. Sidewalk tables offer a nice touch and many celeb sightings.
