Bea Bea's Restaurant Review:
"Breakfast is everything" at Bea Bea Chanchaisri’s family-run strip-mall café in Burbank. The space includes brown-, orange- and yellow-striped walls, a white counter and inviting patio tables. Chanchaisri’s concept shares similarities with Cici's Café, a creative restaurant in Tarzana from sister Sawarai “CiCi” Chanchaisri. Bea Bea’s features pancakes, french toast and waffles until its 4 p.m. closing time. Pancakes come in inspired flavors like berry ricotta, banana and peanut butter crunch, and Thai Tea, but the biggest seller remains Green Tea Monster. An airy batter is folded with matcha green tea powder and white chocolate, then griddled. Toppings consist of green tea mascarpone and generous servings of whipped cream. If you’re looking for something savory, Bea Bea’s also serves burgers, sandwiches and salads. To drink, there are seven different juices, a host of iced teas and lemonades, and a full complement of espresso drinks.
