Cafe Roma Restaurant Review:

When the Rizzo family opened Café Roma in 1980, they set the bar high and kept it there. This is still the place to go for upscale yet decidedly unstuffy Italian food. Local ingredients shine in classics such as house-made goat cheese ravioli, Angus beef carpaccio with capers and the signature cannelloni stuffed with chicken and spinach. All sauces are made from scratch, as are most of the pastas. For dessert, consider the tiramisu and cheesecake, but also ask about the daily flavor of gelato. An extensive wine list features lots of local labels along with thoughtful Italian options. There’s a good array of selections by the glass as well. Note: This restaurant was formerly located at 1819 Osos St.
