Della's Kitchen Restaurant Review:
Located steps from the Delano lobby and the walkway to Mandalay Bay, Della's Kitchen has décor featuring a hardwood floor and wood chairs and tables; warm colors of yellow, aqua blue, lime green and brown; and shelves lined with multi-colored jars and bottles alluding to the farm-to-table theme. The menu lists ingredients with the names of nearby farms from which they are sourced, and is coded to gluten-free and "smart plate" items with 700 calories or less, such as the market vegetables with white bean purée, seasonal vegetables, pea tendrils and morel jus, which qualifies for both categories. Vegetarians have several choices, including house-made granola; tomato salad with heirloom tomato, pea purée, salt-roasted beets, burrata and pea tendrils; truffled pappardelle with English peas, forest mushrooms and truffle butter; and quinoa cereal with banana, Pudwill Farms berries, almonds, chia seeds and soy milk. Indulgent items include blackened bacon-wrapped shrimp served with two types of grits: white hominy and local aged cheddar; lamb sliders with spiced Nevada lamb, pickled red onion, feta, K&K arugula and harissa aïoli; and desserts of crème brûlée and Oreo cheesecake. The breakfast/lunch menu is complemented by a collection of craft beers including Goose Island Sofie and the Belgian Orval.
