Fleming’s has the regulation warm wood-leather décor, made a bit more contemporary by an open kitchen. Also standard is the selection of juicy hand-cut rib-eyes, filets and New York strips (all seared by high-heat cooking, for the signature steakhouse outer crust). What makes this chain stand out is its wine program, featuring numerous hard-to-find American boutique wines as well as renowned national and international labels. The restaurant’s aged Prime meat (plus seafood, salads and sweets) can be coupled with 100 quaffs by the glass --- and the user-friendly wine list’s detailed descriptions make pairing foolproof even for novice oenophiles. For particularly curious taste-testers, wine flights are available. And there are 80 additional rare reserve wines available only by the bottle, for those who already know what they like.
