Fogo de Chão Restaurant Review:
Carnivores were saddened when The Palm steakhouse, located in The Westin Copley Place, closed its doors. But meat lovers can now congregate at another steakhouse, the Brazilian Fogo de Chão. Start with a visit to the not-so-typical salad bar overflowing with everything from aged cheeses and prosciutto to smoked salmon and sun-dried tomatoes. Then order a traditional Brazilian cocktail, the caipirinha, and turn the card on your table over to the green side, indicating you are ready for the parade of mostly beef. Gaucho chefs will begin tableside carving of 15 different grilled cuts from long skewers of top sirloin, bottom sirloin, filet mignon, rib-eye, beef ribs, pork ribs, lamb, chicken and linguiça. Lunch is $38.95 and dinner is $57.95 per person for adults (children's portions are half price). If you can save room for dessert, we suggest the flan.
