About the restaurant: Founding Farmers Tysons’ menu, like that of its sister restaurants in DC and Maryland, presents traditional American fare with modern twists.

Food & Drinks: Lunch and dinner items tempt with such classics as mac ‘n’ cheese, roasted tomato soup, and slow-braised beef ribs. And then the kitchen takes the Southern fried chicken-and-waffle theme, spices up the chicken with shots of hot sauce, and serves chicken pieces alongside a Jefferson donut, a yeasty cream-filled pastry with sugar piping. Burger choices include the familiar cheeseburger but also a chili cheeseburger and a goat cheeseburger. Entrées round up large salads, assorted meat-based dishes, seafood aplenty and fresh-made pastas. For breakfast and for brunch, egg-bacon-sausage options accompany waffles, buttermilk pancakes and french toast. Finish off the meal with carrot cake, red velvet cake or apple pie, among other desserts. Wine and cocktail selections are extensive.
