Fuji Mountain Restaurant Review:

This quiet Japanese place, out of the business hubbub, is done in muted tones and pale blond wood. You can snack on edamame at the sushi bar while contemplating the selection. Start with a pork or chicken katsu, then move on to the sushi. Aside from all the nigiri sushi, especially surf clam or sea urchin roe, they make a dynamite roll of tuna, avocado, spicy sauce and flying fish roe, and a Philly roll with cream cheese and smoked salmon. The sushi and sashimi for two includes ten pieces of nigiri, six pieces of tekka maki and twelve slices of assorted raw fish. Hot platters of teriyaki, tempura or katsu, that may include soft shell crab when in season, include miso soup, salad and rice. Steaming bowls of udon or soba noodles are sure to please. A fourth floor karaoke room is available for private parties.
