Longboard's Restaurant Review:
A culinary hub this isn't, but with its bright murals, brimming barrels full of salty peanuts and a prime perch on the second floor on Stearns Wharf, although the place exudes a touristy vibe it’s ideal on lazy summer days. The menu offers uneventful fare like sandwiches and various deep-fried and char-grilled seafood selections. We recommend sticking with simpler, less expensive items such as clam chowder, fish 'n' chips, mahi mahi sandwiches and specialty burgers. If you do branch out, go for one of the mixed drinks and an appetizer like the Buffalo wings or chicken tenders. Otherwise, you’re dropping serious coin for so-so food and service. If you’re feeling truly gluttonous, cap off your meal with that lowbrow culinary symbol of wanton decadence: the deep-fried Twinkie or deep-fried Oreo.
