Madhuban Indian Cuisine Restaurant Review:
Ignore the strip mall location far from the flash of downtown, the somewhat affected Indian décor, and an almost cafeteria-style seating arrangement. Instead, concentrate on the menu. Each meal starts with anise-flavored pappadum accompanied by sweet-onion chutney. To launch your feast, order the paneer pakora, spicy morsels of battered, deep-fried cottage cheese. We could recommend many dishes from the abundant menu, but don’t miss the buttery chicken makhani, the sweet coconut chicken madrasi, and spicy eggplant baigan bhartha. For dipping in flavorful chutney or pepper sauce, add an order of plain or garlic naan. After your main course, indulge in spoonfuls of kheer, a creamy Indian rice pudding, or lighten things up with a mango lassi. If dinner seems like too much of a commitment, Madhuban offers a nicely priced lunch buffet, but be sure to arrive early to beat the crowd.
