The dining room in the great hall, with its polished knot-free pine walls and an array of game heads, bespeaks a time when ladies and gentlemen dressed for dinner. Well-trained, affable servers bring forth seven-course dinners, which change every night. They are accompanied by fine wines and end with an offer of ports or brandies.
