Skeeter’s Mesquite Grill Restaurant Review:

Residents of West U have been flocking to this strip center spot for almost three decades, and with good reason. The bright and airy eatery hardly looks that old, with a large dining room, an open kitchen where you can watch the flames licking the mesquite wood on the grill, and a spruced up patio for sipping margaritas on nice days. Mornings bring men with ties hashing out deals over plates of eggs, while lunches see local workers and women ending their shopping with a glass of wine and a kale salad. In the evenings, the place is packed with families pouring in after work and groups of little leaguers lining up at the order counter for juicy burgers and surprisingly good tacos. As for the Tex-Mex, the paper-thin tortillas are handmade in house and the rest of the ingredients are mostly locally source. You won’t go wrong trying the Mexican combo plate that provides enough food for two, or maybe three, people.
