SoBo Cafe Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: Bright orange walls dotted with local artworks, all available for purchase, make an engaging backdrop for the hip, young crowd that populates this unpretentious Federal Hill café.

Food & Drinks: The kitchen turns out a seasonal mix of comfort food classics --- chicken potpie, macaroni and cheese, liver and onions --- and inventive, international, and upscale American fare. Korean chicken-fried steak with kimchi collard greens, pan-seared scallops with chorizo and kale, and spicy cauliflower flatbread pizza are among the choices. With most entrées in the teens, it's fun to experiment when you're in the mood for an arty, casual, upbeat meal. That goes for lunch, dinner and brunch, and add to that, one of the desserts: how about a blueberry pudding with crunchy streusel? Beer and wine are served. The location is an easy stroll from the bright lights of the Inner Harbor, the funky charms of Federal Hill and the excitement of the ballparks.
