Tarbell's Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Since it opened in 1994, this swank American bistro has been a hotspot for the Valley's see-and-be-seen crowd. It's no wonder. Owner-chef Mark Tarbell got his start cooking on TV. Happily, the food hasn't been a passing fad.
Food & Drinks: Simple but well-crafted plates include house-made burrata; New York strip steak; or pasta in a Bolognese sauce that takes four days to simmer to sumptuousness. Over the years, the mood and menu have grown more casual, so there is wood-oven pizza, too. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can be requested. Select from house-made desserts such as cheesecake with rosemary caramel, chocolate mousse, and Southern bread pudding.
