Chef Akira Hirose passed away in 2024, but his family continues his culinary legacy at Azay in Little Tokyo. The menu offers both French and Japanese dishes, including croque monsieur (French ham and Gruyère on sourdough with béchamel sauce) and a daily bento with a protein, cha soba, seasonal vegetables, miso soup and rice.
