b.good Restaurant Review:
Instead of serving up processed food with all the preservatives found at typical fast food chains, South Shore natives Anthony Ackil and Jon Olinto teamed with chef Tony Rosenfeld to construct a menu that rotates on the salad-sandwich-smoothie axis. It includes super-lean burgers, roast turkey dinners, oven-baked fries and low-fat brownies. Sure, you can get a juicy burger, but it's the all-natural beef, veggie or turkey kind that can be topped with buffalo sauce and blue cheese or avocado, cilantro, salsa and chipotle purée. Seasonal salads may include anything from roasted butternut to a Southwestern chicken filled with grilled corn and black beans. It's all served over-the-counter in a McDonald's-meets-mod space. Smoothies are available in the form of strawberry-banana, acai berry and carrot cake. Other locations.
