Bahama Breeze Restaurant Review:
Las Vegas’ dining options aren’t limited to the hotels on the Strip. A taste of the Caribbean is a quick cab ride away, close to the convention center. Decorated with palm trees, the restaurant is a good choice for those looking for an island getaway without leaving town. The exotic and vast menu features plenty of spice from beginning to end. Plantains are served in the appetizer of tostones with chicken; slices of the fruit are served with chicken, vegetables and cheese --- think nachos, but tropical. The fresh fish menu is a winner, as seafood is flown in daily, and diners have the option of choosing tilapia, salmon, ahi or the chef’s choice of the day, as well as whether to have it wood-grilled or sautéed, with a number of flavor options like almond-crusted, Creole or chimichurri. For dessert, don’t miss the signature Key lime pie, with a golden meringue and a homemade brown sugar crust.
