Founded in 1861 but in its present home at Reading Terminal Market since 1893, Bassetts dispenses premium ice cream in cones, cups, shakes and hand-packed pints. Butterscotch vanilla, matcha (green tea) and Guatemalan Ripple (Guatemalan sourced coffee with mocha fudge ripple and coffee filled chocolates) find room alongside stalwarts such as mint chocolate chip, double chocolate, coffee, and cookies and cream.
