THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Basta's Ristorante Restaurant Review:

There's a sense of northern Italy in this restaurant, located in an older part of St. Petersburg, both in terms of the menu and the murals depicting typical country scenes. Many entrées are prepared tableside and menu items range from rack of lamb, steak and veal to lobster and other seafood selections. One of the most notable is Shrimp Flambé, prepared at the table with brandy, garlic and white wine. The seafood focus is evident in the salmon Siberiana (poached in a vodka and cream sauce with shrimp), but select meats are also honored, such as the veal saltimbocca Romana (scaloppine with prosciutto, topped with mozzarella in a wine sauce). Desserts are also creative. Service is consistently professional.
