BD's Mongolian Barbecue

BD's Mongolian Barbecue Restaurant Review:

This stylized stir-fry spot caters to families and college kids who create their own concoctions from an assortment of seafood, poultry, steak, vegetables, sweet and tangy sauces and spices. The restaurant is set up like a laid-back bar and grill --- the dimly lit, high-energy, multi-tiered space overlooks Coventry. Inside, famished patrons shuffle through a buffet line, filling their bowls with all sorts of ingredients, many of which are purchased from local farms. Patrons then pass their mélange off to a team of chefs, who wield large spatulas and fry them on a Mongolian-style grill. It sounds ideal, in some ways, but many people are satiated after one bowl at this all-you-can-eat joint. (There are no doggie bags after the first bowl.) Soups and the salad bar, included in the set price, are unremarkable enough to skip.
