THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Beachside Bar & Cafe Restaurant Review:

Beachside Bar & Café has one of the better dining locations in all of Santa Barbara. The prime seating is on the outdoor patio with its enclosed glass walls that look directly onto the Goleta pier and the Channel Islands. The nearly 40-year-old restaurant sports a nautical theme, with blue awnings and fabrics on the chairs, as a complement to the ocean. The interior has plenty of room, and the centralized oyster bar looks out to the views as well. Typical of the entrées, Alaskan halibut is stuffed with Dungeness crab baked with a goat cheese crust and served over citrus beurre blanc. There’s also cashew chicken salad and shrimp quesadillas. Along with a full bar, a limited wine selection offers predominately local and inexpensive options.
