Beaker & Gray in Wynwood is from Brian Nasajon (Lure Fishbar New York, SushiSamba South Beach) and Blackbird and The Broken Shaker veteran Ben Potts. It’s part eatery, part cocktail bar, offering churros with shrimp, chorizo and ginger; a “sandwichito” of plantain brioche, pork belly and watermelon rind; cauliflower with bacon, queso fresco and yuzu; and glass noodles with green papaya, chayote and Valencia peanut. Larger dishes include mofongo with mustard seed and pineapple. Handcrafted libations are in one of three sections: shaken, stirred and strange.
