Though the premises may seem a little cold and echoing as you arrive, not surprising given that marble tables and wicker chairs are the only adornment of the old shop floor, this is the best place for eating all manner of shellfish, and particularly oysters. The atmosphere inevitably buzzes, and if you're lucky you may get a seat inside the bar itself, a little room on the left. Try the groaning seafood platter for a statement. Crab is served in its shell for those who enjoy the challenge, while oysters come in several different varieties and price ranges. The wine list is appropriately white-heavy and the service professional.
