A half-timbered English pub greets you outside and a warmly wooded interior takes you back to the Prohibition era, when Billy's opened as a tea room. It became a saloon that served food and emerged as a fine restaurant that serves fine spirits. Yet you can still get a beer and a burger too. Take your time with a lengthy menu that offers each item prepared in so many ways, there's a glossary to explain them. The kitchen is famous for its crab cakes, stuffed pork chops, and the prime rib. Many diners dote on the veal, especially the veal liver with bacon and onions. London broil is prepared for two. Everything is cooked to order, so have a drink and be prepared to wait 30 minutes.
