SERRA by Birreria Restaurant Review:
Oscar Farinetti’s brainchild Eataly bills itself as a small Italian village in the middle of Manhattan. Up on the roof is SERRA by Birreria, named after the Italian word for “greenhouse.” Take the elevator to the fourteenth floor and ascend the steps to greet the city skyline. A retractable roof and heaters let diners nibble and drink in comfort during all kinds of weather. The rustic Italian menu changes with the seasons, so guests might expect Raclette and other Alpine cuisine in the winter and light salads and Spritz cocktails in the spring. You’ll also find cheese and charcuterie from near and far. End the meal with a classic Italian dessert like panna cotta.
