Bistro 19 Restaurant Review:

Bistro 19 has reaped the benefits of matching its image to the Mt. Lebanon community, which has sought out the restaurant’s sleek décor, upscale ambience and bananas Foster napoleon dessert for more than 10 years. With clean lines warmed by dark wood and flattering lighting, an intimate dining room emanates the comfortable vibes of its casually affluent neighborhood. Specialty cocktails pass across the bar. Long an advocate for local, organic ingredients, the bistro recasts classic dishes with creative twists. Signatures include Chilean sea bass with horseradish crust, rice wine marinade, Asian vinaigrette, macadamia basmati rice and napa slaw. But the kitchen also augments the menu with frequent specials and seasonal changes --- an incentive for repeat visits. The wine list is relatively extensive and eclectic, offering choices by the glass and bottle, the reason why Bistro 19 is known as a wine bar.
