Bistro Restaurant Review:

Just off the lobby of the Chamberlain hotel, Bistro offers peace and quiet in a sleek and very masculine green-tone décor scheme just a few yards away from busy Santa Monica Boulevard. Executive chef Emilio Noselotl composes a well-balanced California menu with bistro flair. Risotto fritters are stuffed with serrano ham and Gruyère. There is also a cheese and charcuterie plate accompanied by fig jam and nuts. Basic larger plates range from blackened ahi served with a spicy soy mustard sauce to roasted rack of lamb with herbs and seasonal vegetables. Apple tart à la mode and New York cheesecake make their way onto the dessert menu, and there is a small but dependable wine list.
