The team behind The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog have followed up with BlackTail, a bar/restaurant that pays tribute to the era when Cuba was a popular getaway for New Yorkers looking for a break from Prohibition. The drinks put a contemporary spin on classics, like the Rum & Cola that incorporates Champagne. The food menu presents small plates (crudo, chicken lollipops), larger offerings (a Cuban sandwich with confit rabbit leg, rosemary ham and roasted pork shoulder) and desserts (tres leches cake, coconut flan).
