Blue Ridge Grill Restaurant Review:
The quintessential family restaurant, this Leesburg eatery is conveniently situated near outlet stores so folks can shop, eat, and shop some more. Aimed at a middle America dining brigade, the menu turns to such standards as burgers and fries, pastas with or without chicken or salmon toppings, steaks and ribs, and a whole line of predictable appetizers. Good is the chili and chips combo, a pleasant foretaste of the Leesburger burger with grilled Virginia ham and barbecue sauce, and cheeses, of course. For the calorie counters, the Blue Ridge house salad with extra bacon is a pleasant excuse to wait for dessert. What would that be? Your choice of a cheesecake made with mascarpone, an apple-walnut cobbler or a brownie with ice cream. Kids have their own menu. Also located at 22865 Brambleton Plaza, Brambleton, 703-327-1047.
