From restaurateur Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group (The Modern, Gramercy Tavern, Union Square Café) comes this downtown outpost of barbecue spot Blue Smoke. Start off with appetizers like pork rinds with cheese sauce, grilled oysters with ramp butter, or smoked chicken wings with Alabama white sauce. Among the barbecue specialties are baby-back ribs (half rack and full rack), salt-and-pepper beef ribs, chopped pork shoulder and andouille sausage. The menu also features a Blue Smoke burger paired with seasoned fries, fried chicken with buttermilk biscuit, and ember-roasted salmon. Cocktails, wines, whiskeys and craft beers are available.
