Bobo's Lounge Restaurant Review:
The offspring of Andrea Froncillo’s popular Boboquivari steakhouse channels the parent’s clown-parlor vibe and Asian-Italian fusion menu into a smaller, accessible lounge setting for drop-ins just next door. The flavorful dry-aged, bone-in steaks that put Bobo’s on the map share the spotlight here with the savory “branzino Chinese," a whole sea bass pan-seared with minimal oil for a crackly, brittle infrastructure, served on a bed of seaweed and traditional pot sticker sauce. Not to be missed are the delicate potato-and-salmon croquettes, and the shishito peppers sautéed with fish flakes and grain salt. Selections from the steakhouse’s wine list are offered by the glass, and a handful of craft cocktails and beers round out the bar. A colorful dessert menu features bombolini, ginger crème brûlée and an inviting, warm apple crisp.
