The Bombay Club Restaurant Review:

There is nothing trendy or modern about The Bombay Club, and that’s part of its timeless charm. Sip an icy, bracing martini while relaxing amid the softly lit, clubby atmosphere; the martini menu offers more than a dozen varieties. Classic European cooking techniques meld nicely with Creole traditions to create a complex menu. Small plates and large plates are available, and some of the best among them are the braised lamb with an Abita root beer glaze, and the ginger beer-braised beef short ribs accented with brown butter and served with ginger and garlic rice. Look for a respectable selection of full-bodied red wines that nicely complements the hearty cuisine. For dessert, we recommend the devil's food cake with dulce de leche ice cream.
