THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Bucharest Grill Restaurant Review:
Detroit has always been a culinary melting pot, so it's not surprising to encounter a smorgasbord of fare at the charming Bucharest Grill. Even those who grew up on their grandmother’s Eastern European cooking will find the house-made Hungarian and Romanian specialties here authentic. Try the nicely spiced, fresh green peppers stuffed with ground pork and rice in zesty sauce with sour cream and cabbage salad; Romanian sausages; or the schnitzel plate, pan-fried chicken with fries, pita and salad. Or go for the cheese pie turnover, stuffed grape leaves or one of several shwarmas served in wraps or as a salad. For those who want more of an American accent to their meal, there’s the Bucharest fried egg cheeseburger or sliders as well as gourmet dogs. Meals are eat in or take out, and there also is limited delivery. Situated in bustling Foxtown near the ball parks, it's a nice stop for good food at reasonable prices.
