THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Buckhorn Grill Restaurant Review:
Buckhorn first teased Napa’s Friday Night Market-goers with hunky, marinated and smoked tri-tip sandwiches before opening a permanent supply outpost downtown. It’s now a Bay Area chain families rely on for quick and tasty (though basic) barbecue fare. Morph the bare-bones au jus with caramelized onions sandwich into a cheesesteak, or add heat with a chipotle version. Sides are passable, though the salads deserve a look; if you go the meatless route, their heft won’t leave you hungry (and of course they encourage grilled add-ons to ensure you get your protein).
