The Buffet Bellagio Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Located near the “O” Theater in one of the Strip's most opulent hotels, The Buffet boasts a spacious and cheerful ambience with lots of brass and glass, enhanced by red, white and blush wines, and a large selection of beers.
Food & Drinks: Thousands of people eat here daily, piling their plates with everything from boiled shrimp and Scottish smoked salmon to salad bar selections such as couscous and crab legs. There’s good thin-crusted pizzas out of a wood-burning oven, Asian stir-fry and, we're happy to report, freshly baked breads. The Friday, Saturday and Sunday dinner buffets are promoted as “gourmet,” with the addition of carved-to-order beef Wellington with béarnaise sauce and Kobe-style beef, as well as caviars served alone or atop house-made blinis, miniature buckwheat waffles, freshly rolled sushi and ahi cones. Among appealing desserts are fruit tarts, crème brûlée and brownies.
