Builder's Arms
Locals frequent this gastropub with a good wine list and the right kind of beers.
Builder's Arms Restaurant Review:
Run by the small group that has several gastropubs including The Queens in Primrose Hill and the Duke of Cambridge in Battersea, the Builder's Arms is a pretty little pub with a neighbourhood feel. The décor fits the bill, with wooden floors and paneled walls hung with old prints, the odd artifact dotted around and a roaring fire in winter months. The cooking is staple gastropub, with dishes like fish ‘n’ chips in proper beer batter or roast salmon plus sandwiches for those who want just a quick bite. Good wine list, the right kind of beers and pleasant staff.
