Chef/owner Antonio Varia has served spot-on Northern Italian cuisine for 20 years. Seasonal specials include grilled halibut with risotto or linguine with chanterelles, but it’s hard to go wrong with the regular menu, especially the house-made pastas. Among our favorites are the pumpkin tortelloni with a sage and mascarpone sauce and the fettuccine with slow-braised chicken. The veal scallopine hits the spot for a heartier dish, and vegetarian options include an eggplant timbale --- think ratatouille, but lighter. For dessert, enjoy a glass of vin santo with biscotti or the trio of homemade gelato. The wine list is international, and the broad selection of Italian wines usually includes several Proseccos and some nice Super Tuscans.
