The menu changes not only with the seasons here, but with the time of day-more contemporary for breakfast and lunch, leaning more heavily toward French in the evening. Items are written in chalk on a board and change daily, although there are regular offerings of duck à la orange, rack of lamb and fresh fish, such as grouper stuffed with crabmeat and fresh spinach with cinnamon schnapps. The rack of lamb is cooked over an open fire and served in a fig sauce. A chicken dish is a masterpiece when stuffed with artichoke hearts, vegetables, portobello mushrooms, shredded carrots, fresh herbs and spices and applejack brandy. A standout dessert is the fresh berry plate-raspberries, blackberries and strawberries in a light liqueur sauce.
