Cafe Bernardo Restaurant Review:
The Davis branch of this local chain restaurant offers upscale cuisine in a relaxed setting. Dishes incorporate seasonal produce, free-range chicken and more, all at reasonable prices. The menu is relatively simple, featuring salads, soups, sandwiches, pizza and a few entrées. Starters include a mushroom and Jarlsberg salad and lentil soup, while mains include grilled salmon and flat-iron steak. Sandwiches range from a Cubano to a turkey burger, and pastas are also available. Breakfast is served daily, and includes chilaquiles and amaretto-brioche french toast.
