THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe de France Restaurant Review:
The appetizers at this out-of-the-way French restaurant may range from frogs' legs in garlic to onion soup, to homemade smoked salmon and warm goat cheese salad. Entrées are consistently notable, including chicken breast with mushroom sauce, veal kidneys in a mustard sauce or veal scaloppine. Grill entrées---filet mignon, Châteaubriand, rack of lamb and pork chops---each come with special sauces. Seafood selections include filet of sole amandine, Dover sole and rainbow trout, scallops and salmon. Keep your appetite's fire burning with dessert where you may choose your flambé: bananas Foster or crêpes Suzette.
